The Myway Cocoon makes the compromise between utilizing roof space for luggage or for a rooftop tent. The Cocoon starts off as a roof rack fitted with a cargo bag. The rack has a wooden floor and aluminium structure, with the cargo bag being fitted to the structure. Once the top of the cargo bag has been removed the tent body fastens to the top frame member and erects with one pole and three spring rods. It provides a bed size of 1.95 m x 1.2 m, just enough for two people. It does not come with a mattress, as an inflatable mattress is intended, but a three fold mattress can be supplied.

The cargo bag provides a dust and water free environment for soft luggage like sleeping bags, clothes bags and mattresses, or even for crates.

The complete roof rack, cargo bag and Cocoon can be fitted with the easy-mount system onto three load bars. No existing roof rack is required.
