MORE INFORMATION
Technology now plays a huge roll in providing components to aid todays modern traveller, forever updating to improve performance and reliability. Unfortunately the Roof Tent has changed little since its introduction c.1955 until now!
Embracing modern materials and design techniques MyWay dared to re-design the “Roof Tent” drawing on experience to eliminate the familiar problems that the dinosaurs of the industry have failed to address.
The Evolution was the result and has found great favour amongst the Over Land community many having switched brands because of the benefits of this all-new technical design.

LIGHT AND LOW PROFILE
WEIGHT AND PACK DOWN SIZE
Constructed from Oxford Nylon (Yacht sail), aluminium and polypropylene, from only 35kilos “The Evolution” is almost half the weight of its competitors and can be mounted on most roof bar systems without the need for expensive suspension upgrades.
“The Evolution" does little to compromise a vehicles stability if considering an overland trip.
With a pack down size of only 200mm including bedding, shower curtain and ladder, “The Evolution” reduces wind resistance over its competitors that can make a substantial fuel saving on an extended trip.

ROOF VENT NOW WITH ADDITIONAL ZIPPED COVER
WEATHER PROTECTION AND VENTILATION
Unique to MyWay is a vent situated in the apex of the tent. Working with the unique upwardly closing windows and doors this vent regulates airflow through the tent helping to eliminate the condensation familiar to Roof Top Tents. It is fair to say though that in still or humid conditions no tent will prevent condensation.
The tent inner and vent is separated from the fly sheet by a 3” air gap; not only aiding ventilation but, for those of you who follow Ray Mears and his desert adventures, keeps the tent “life savingly” cooler than ambient in hot climates.
A lot of common “flapping” is also eliminated by separating the fly sheet from the inner tent and can aid a restful nights sleep.
Tensioners supporting the fully waterproof and windproof tent sail and inner can be adjusted according to differing climate conditions. This eliminates the common tearing of tent fabric as tents become turgid in hot conditions.

ALLOY, OXFORD NYLON AND POLYPROPYLENE CONSTRUCTION
ROT AND MILDREW RESISTANT
Most roof tents built in S. Africa, and poorly copied in China, do not cater for the Great British weather. It is likely your roof tent will spend most of its useful life in the pursuit of adventure here in the Home Counties. Dry climates have little effect on cheap canvas, steel and wood constructions yet here can result in the unpacking of mildew covered, smelly, rotting tents, limiting their useful life.
The “Evolution” constructed from Oxford nylon, alloy and polypropylene allows the tent to be packed away wet for longer periods, dries quickly and is resistant to rot and mildew.

REPAIRS IN THE FIELD MADE EASY WITH MODULAR CONSTRUCTION
MODULAR CONSTRUCTION
In the event of sustaining damage MyWay tents can be repaired in the field with limited resources. Modularly constructed, components can be easily separated repaired and replaced. This may be worth considering when travelling through countries with limited services.
Supported by Velcro fastenings in varied hot and cold climates MyWay has the only tent sail that can be adjusted to take up the slack or relaxed to avoid tearing of the stitching (common to several leading brands).

GENUINE 1 MAN OPERATION (not usually this way though!!!)
GENUINE ONE MAN SET UP
The “Evolution” guarantees a genuine one-man set up. Its modern lightweight materials and draw cord system allows set up and pack down in less than 3 minutes.
